Pastor Marc Anderson

Hello I’m pastor Marc Anderson and here is a short testimony of my conversation to Christ and call into the ministry. I grew up in a broken home in Duplin county and was first invited to church by my aunt Sally Dail and as a result started attending church with her. I was saved by the grace of God in November of 1984 at the age of 10 years old at Calvary Independent Baptist Church Kenansville NC. Pastor John Jacobs was the pastor. After receiving Christ as my Saviour I began fervently reading the Holy Scriptures and also reading everything I could about my new found faith.  At the age of 14 I began to sense a call into the ministry and answered the call to preach shortly thereafter. I began to preach in the school I attended to anyone who would take time to listen. I received my first official license to preach in 1991 at 17 years old. I began doing evangelistic work in various churches and locations and in 2012 I became the founding pastor of King James Bible Church an independent Baptist church of which I am still currently the Senior pastor of. My main mission  and goal as the pastor and teacher of this local assembly is to get people to fall in love with the Book and stay in love with the Book! I am happily married to my beautiful wife Carrie Anderson and I have 6 amazing children Naomi, Joel, Claire, Michael, Taylor, and Samuel.
